Writing Work For Term One 2018

This term for writing we have been doing all different types of things like studyladder long writes 15 minute writer's writing activities and stuff like that. But my groups main focus is  iSpace, Word Order & Quick Write. We had to make sure we used iSpace which is ing words, similes, prepositions, adverbs, connectives and ed words. Quick write is when you have to try and write a decent amount of writing in the amount of time you are given.

My Maths Learning For Term One 2018

This term for math we have been learning how to multiply add divide and minus decimal places. also every few weeks we would have a new investigation here are the investigations from the past few weeks.

Easter Fun Day

Today is easter fun day and on easter funday we get to make hats and do egg jarping, The egg drop technology challenge and tones of stuff like that. this morning we have been making our hats and me and my friend Ariana made really tall ones.

Next in the day we did the egg drop technology challenge.
In the challenge you have to make a contraption that will make a raw egg survive being dropped off of the roof.

For this challenge you get 1 plastic bag, 5 cotton balls, 5 straws, 3 a4 pieces of paper, 1 strip of cardboard and tape. Me and my partner Ariana decided to rip the cotton balls in half then put those around the egg then 2 pieces of paper then we put the rest of the cotton balls. after that we cut the straws in half and stuck those around the bottom of the cardboard strip like legs. after that we used the plastic bag as a parachute.

this is my about me. everyone in my class had to do an about me. all we had to make is a DLO and i chose to make a slide

My Mihimihi for 2018

For the past few weeks we have been working on our profil of a hero which is a booklet all about us and one of the task in our profile of a hero was to do our mihimihi and do art work for it so here mine is.

The A&P Show

Last week we were set a task to do activities based on the A&P show.

I found it quite hard to get all of this work done in three days because you had to get it done to a high standard. 

there were 8 tasks to finish I only got 4 done but im still pretty happy with myself. 

so here is my finished work.

this is the first thing i did which is the history of the A&P show.

this is the second thing i did which is advertising for next year.

this is the 3rd thing i did which was my photo book.

I also made a ride that was called the mountain climber but it went missing. 
I was que proud of it and liked how good the quality was.

Writing Practice

Whats up bloggers yesterday we were given the task to write a story based on a video we watched called the ocean maker. The video had such a great story line. When we watched the video we only watched it up to about 1 minute 50 seconds and then we got to right about what happens  Once we had watched the video as a class we brainstormed about the plane and the character and stuff like that. Then we had to make a plan which we got ten minutes to do. This is my plan.
